ISO 2322:2023 — Styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) — Emulsion- and solution-polymerized types — Evaluation procedures. This international standard specifies agreed test procedures, standard materials and formulations, and equipment and processing methods used to evaluate the physical, chemical and vulcanization characteristics of emulsion‑ and solution‑polymerized SBRs (including oil‑extended types), for use in quality control, product development and comparative assessment of raw rubbers and compounds.

Abstract

This document specifies physical and chemical tests on raw SBRs and defines standard materials, standard test formulations, equipment and processing methods for evaluating the vulcanization characteristics of emulsion‑ and solution‑polymerized styrene‑butadiene rubbers, including oil‑extended rubbers.
